  • Why a 16k subscriber channel was quietly bleeding traction

  • The one gap we found that unlocked everything

  • How we took advantage of the gap

The Actionable Takeaway

If you haven’t already, start posting case studies directly to your channel.

They don’t have to be interviews or anything crazy, just position your video directly around a case study result.

Steal these titles:

  • I did XYZ to prove it’s not luck

  • Give me X minutes and I’ll teach you [achieved result]

  • How I [achieved result] so you can copy me

These will be some of the highest converting videos you can post since you’re maximizing social proof

31 Calls in 30 Days

This one is a little different from the typical case study we share.

Most of our clients come to us starting with no channel, no subscribers, no data to work with.

This client was the opposite.

He already had 16k subscribers on YouTube and was booking around 20 calls a month directly from the platform.

By most standards, that's a channel that's working.

But something was off.

The Situation

He was burning out on content.

Planning videos, strategizing topics, scripting everything out and he was tired of it.

You could see it in the output.

Low effort loom recording after low effort loom recording, his channel was slowly losing the traction it had built over two years.

That's when we partnered up.

Strategizing for the Channel

Usually when we take on a new B2B client, we don't have much data to work with.

We're looking at competitor channels, outlier videos, and market research to figure out where to start.

This case was completely different.

Two years of content and hundreds of videos meant we had a mountain of data to analyze before we even looked at what competitors were doing.

So that's exactly where we started

We found one video type that was consistently outperforming everything else.

But more importantly, we found a gap.

A clear hole in the strategy that he hadn’t pulled on yet.

Finding the Gap

The missing piece was case study breakdowns.

He gets strong results for his clients, but because of NDAs, he'd avoided making videos about them.

How do you angle the title without revealing too much?
How do you present the results?
What needs to be blurred in the edit?

It felt complicated, so he just didn't do it.

That was the lever.

We took over the entire process.

Figured out the angles, handled the presentation, made sure editors blurred everything that needed to stay private.

Suddenly a content type he'd been barely touching became one of the most powerful tools in his strategy.

Now, we couldn’t just solely rely on case study breakdowns.

We implemented a healthy cadence of → TOF/MOF/BOF/MOF

In simple terms, this means 3 out of the 4 videos we post are to nurture the audience he already has (20k+ subs) while 1 video is to attract new people
