Everyone's telling you raw, low-production editing is back.
Just point a camera at yourself, hit post, and let the "authenticity" do the work.
It's some of the worst advice I've seen for B2B businesses this year.
Here's what we'll cover:
Why "raw is back" is a trap for everyone without a personal brand
The real reason Hormozi gets away with it (and you can't yet)

The Actionable Takeaway
Look at your last video the way a $10M prospect already in your funnel would.
Judge the thumbnail and the first 30 seconds.
Does it read "serious operator," or does it read "low effort"?
Because if it reads low effort, that's exactly what they now assume about your service.
Fix your production quality before you chase the "raw" trend as a b2b business.
Clean packaging, good lighting, a tight edit.
"Raw Is Back" Is A Trap
The loudest advice going around right now is just post raw, authentic, unedited content.
Everyone's copying the low-fi look because a handful of huge names do it.
Guys like Hormozi are doing it right now and overall, it makes a lot of sense
Why not lean into a pattern interrupt that most people haven't caught on to yet?
It costs less. It's easier to do, and it comes off as authentic.
Well, for a b2b business without a brand behind it, that's some of the worst advice out there.
He Can Do That Because He's Hormozi
The common objection I get here is, "Well, if it's such bad advice, why does Hormozi do it? He has one of the best media empires in the space, and he posts raw video content."
Hormozi can post a raw iPhone clip and it works, because the brand already carries the trust.
The raw look isn't why it works.
His authority is.
The production is downstream of the brand.
Think about it.
Hormozi has millions and millions of followers and has gained billions of views, so a lot of people have already seen his face before.
When he posts something that's raw and authentic, it comes across as a pattern interrupt that's actually valuable.
But you don't have that cushion yet.
So raw doesn't read as "authentic" for you. It reads as "didn't try."
Your Editing Is Your First Impression
Your content quality is the first impression, on YouTube and for everyone already inside your funnel.
You're a B2B business who likely has very little social presence online, and you want your first piece of content to be a loom recording that looks like it was made in 5 seconds.
Sloppy production makes a prospect think "imagine what his service is like."
Clean production makes them think "this guy takes it seriously."
We've seen it directly.
One client's video started booking calls the moment we brightened the lighting and cleaned up the packaging.
Nothing about the actual content changed.
Now, I know that sounds too good to be true, but the reality is B2B buyers want to work with premium businesses.
If your content doesn't look premium, they're not going to think you're premium
So treat your editing and packaging as a trust asset, not an afterthought.
