"Views don't matter."
You've heard it a hundred times. And it's partially true.
But take it literally, and you'll starve your channel of the exact thing that books calls.
That’s why we’re gonna cover:
Why "views don't matter" is half-right advice that's quietly costing you calls
The metric that actually predicts pipeline
How to scale views without ever leaving your ICP

The Actionable Takeaway
Don’t score your channel on total views.
Instead, calculate your views-per-booked-call (total views ÷ calls booked) your real efficiency number.
Then run two plays:
Keep the ratio tight. Make sure the views you're getting are the right people -your ICP
Pour in more views. Once the ratio's healthy, more reach means more calls, as long as you stay inside your niche.
Views aren't the goal but they’re the fuel the goal runs on.
Where "Views Don't Matter" Comes From
The advice isn't completely wrong.
If views were your #1 KPI, you'd start posting clickbait that has nothing to do with what you sell.
Which is why it’s true that views shouldn't be your north-star metric.
Booked calls should be.
But the crowd takes it way too far and they tell you to ignore views entirely. Which is where it gets dangerous.
Because a channel that "doesn't care about views" is usually just a channel nobody's watching.
Views Are Just Opportunities
Here's the mindset shift:
Every qualified view is one more shot at a booked call.
And I know this for a fact because our clients with the most views book the most calls.
Because more reach (within your ICP) literally means more people entering your funnel every single week.
Zero views = zero opportunities.
You can have the best offer on earth, but if nobody sees it, nobody books.
The Real KPI: Views Per Booked Call
The metric that actually matters isn't views or calls on their own
It's views per booked call.
This tells you how efficient your content is at turning attention into pipeline.
Once you know that number, scaling is simple
Just get more views without stepping outside your ICP/TAM.
However, note that I am saying without risking your ICP.
Because if you widen the topic to chase views and your ratio collapses then you'll pull in viewers who'll never buy.
So stay tight to your niche and grow reach, then every new view compounds into more calls.
